I think it's a scruffy meadow pipit. Can someone confirm or deny please? Thank you.

Looks like a Lark to me, not a Pipit. Might it be a Skylark looking slightly odd? I can't think of other bird matching this one.

The picture is lovely anyway, Sean, love the pearly droplets of dew all over the place! :bounce: Very nice!!! :t: :t:
 
I wouldn't attempt to identify little brown birds. It probably depends on its song (not heard) and the colour of its toes (not seen)!

Looks like Lark with crest down to me, seen same at Elmley, good for a Lark or few there.
