Red Kite in Bedfordshire (Milvus milvus)

Red Kite, Milvus milvus.
Very chuffed with these today, I went to top up a feeder site and nearly didn't bother to take a camera as it was such crappy weather; this Kite was perched over the road above a 'road kill' Rabbit, pictures were taken from the car using a bean bag as support for the lens. This is one of the second batch, I had shot from further away but the bird stayed while I added a 1.4X and got closer, and as a bit of icing on the cake ... the sun came out too!
