Red-necked Grebe (Podiceps grisegena)

One of those rare occasions when, just minutes before sunset, it went almost dead calm. He has not yet noticed me, crawling on the bank behind a curtain of vegetation. She is in the nest nearby, I guess the chicks will hatch any day.
