Redpoll comparison, Mealy and Arctic...

Again, not a brilliant shot technically, light was bad, but does have value with regard to highlighting differences between these species. First winter Arctic today was my second Exiples in a week!

Thanks for sharing this great photo. OK, it's on a bird table...but it does show the difference. I get the paler ones in my garden sometimes and was intrigued as to the species. Think mine are the Arctic which are mixed in with lot's of Lesser Redpolls.
