Redshank

I've been going to a small lagoon on the Humber estuary just lately, where I have set up a small hide.
There are thousands of birds on the Humber just now, and they really do make a fine spectacle.
The redshanks were feeding less than 5 m away yesterday.
Habitat
Mudflat
Location
Humber Estuary
Date taken
August 2008
Equipment used
Kowa 823.CP8400
Great to get within 5 metres. Normally I'm lucky if I can get to within 20 metres. Great capture.
