Robin and rope (Erithacus rubecula)

Digging out an image from 2005 and stumbled upon this one that I had not worked up before...is the rope too much?

Who ate all the pies? Now ain't this guy a fat little fella? Lovely Robbie on a post shot Mark. Dont know about the rope, but its a cracking backdrop colour.
 
It makes a different composition, no doubt! And that rope is a part of the image as the Robin looks quite interested in it! ;) Lovely post, Mark, I like it a heap!!! :t: :t: :t:
 
Well I think Marian is right in that the robin is involving the rope in the pic and it's also a similar colour to the robin. On the other hand, there is rather a lot of it and you could argue it's too dominant in the image. It gets the thumbs up from me. :t:
