Yeah, I think it is a raven too. Corvus corax.

i do worry about my birding sometimes...anybody else think this is a raven?

Yes - looks like one [but I would'nt trust my birding either!]

anyway - the bird is a rook...if nothing else bill just not right for a raven, rooks can be funny, this bird is fairly recently fledged - it will loose the "hairs" around its upper bill later in the year and this will be replaced by the more familiar bare white skin, but thanks for the comments!

I agree, it looks more like a juvenile Rook. Easy to say now of course!
