After starting to photograph flight shots, I soon realised that this is another ball game all together. When the hands are steady and the panning is good, some beauties come out of the camera.

A superb capture. I love the pose with the wings spread wide and the translucent light and just enough illumination of the head to bring out the colours and detail.
