Nope, it ain't a buzzard.

Some sort of falcon - female saker I think?

This is hellish close for a wild bird.

Yep, it is a Falcon and Saker is a good guess!

Thank you both very much, and i did take this photo at Minster Falconry Centre, and not from my kitchen window, more's the pity.
