YELLOW WARBLER (Dendroica petechia)

YELLOW WARBLER Dendroica petechia STATUS AND RANGE: Barbados race (endangered). This species is endangered, one of the reasons being the Shiny Cowbird laying its eggs in the nest. I have seen no evidence of a Golden Warbler feeding a young Cowbird and maybe the nest is abandoned once the Shiny Cowbirds egg is present. This photograph was taken in Barbados.
