caspian gull perched (larus cachinnans ponticus)

perched male caspian gull on breeding grounds in breeding time. its bill looks veeery long, typical for caspian and even longer now due to moult on head. iris colour is what i tink typical/average for adult caspian: a rich ochre, appearing dark from distance/in weak light. watch all white wingtip in p10.
