Duck heads in the rain! (anas platyrhynchos)

I had just climbed a small mountain outside grassmere in the lake district and was sitting by the tarn at the top. The rain set in and pushed some eclipse mallards into the margins of the lark near where i was sitting. I just took one picture before putting the camera away because of the rain.
Habitat
mountain tarn
Location
grassmere
Date taken
early august
Scientific name
anas platyrhynchos
Equipment used
nikon d50 with a nikon 300m zoom
My first thought was two females; then I noticed the green feathers of the eclipsed male; very subtle and interesting shot :)
