This female Black and Yellow Silky was gorging herself on berries at close range near the Nochebuena restaurant on Volcan Irazu.

Excellent bird and photo Patrick ! I recognize that bush , do you know it's name ? is it some kind of highland Blueberry ?
 
Stephen- No, I don't know what that bush is called, but it seems to be pretty common and important for birds- I will find out what it is!
 
Thankyou Patricia ! I saw several Volcano hummingbirds enjoying the nectar from the blooms.
 
I have been looking for one of the plants myself to add for the hummers in the garden. Of course, it isn't a plant that you can buy in a nursery here. I am sure it is on the farm somewhere!
