Long-tailed Manakins
This pair of male Long-tailed Manakins were calling and displaying at a farm between San Ramon and Puntarenas that will offer birding trails very soon. To me, these manakins are kind of like miniature Birds of Paradise.

Thanks for your comments. These are fairly common and not too difficult to see in Costa Rica in the right habitat but are always a pleasure to see.
