Corps de Ballet: Snowy Egrets

this is a rare sighting, a huge group of snowies on an overcast day, when suddenly one beam of late sunlight illuminated the group. They reminded me of Degas dancers so that's the reason for the title. I was trying to loosen up my usual tight detail approach and let the paint speak up.
