Baby bullfinch with Dad

The parents have been coming every day for weeks. We knew there must be a nest nearby.
Today, this youngster appeared on the feeder, later joined by father.

Would someone please confirm that I am correct in saying that this is a young bullfinch?

It looks like it to me June, lucky you having these birds visit your garden.

Wow June that's great I have a pair of Bullfinches visiting everyday, I am really hopefull that like you I will get to see some juveniles soon.

Looks good to me, June. Wonderful to get these birds at the feeder - they're rare down here - I think I've only had 2 sightings in 5 years! Lovely to see 'your' birds. Well capture :t:
