Red Kite

I do most of my birding in/around the Chilterns, which means I see at least one and often a handful of Red Kites every time I'm out. However, I've never had the opportunity for a photograph until yesterday. This was my first real attempt at BIF with this camera/lens set up. The success rate was about 10% so hopefully that will improve with more opportunities/practice.

An excellent flight shot of this beautiful Kite. Beautiful colours and a great angle. An impressive first flight shot of this lovely bird with your new camera Hobbes.
