Black-shouldered Kite
I was driving home one afternoon and noticed this adult hunting right beside a busy highway. I pulled up quickly and managed to get very close (around 25m max) and watch and photograph as he hovered, hunting in perfect late afternoon light. Then as expected he turned his head to look at me. Just what I wanted.
