Trumpeter Hornbill male (Bycanistes bucinator)

This is the first time I have ever photographed anything from my bed! This voyeur was in the large tree immediately outside our room. The verandah door was open so I lay on the bed and used a pillow as support to take this image. (Canon 7D + 500mm IS lens + 1.4x TC + feather pillow).

Amazing bill!! A room with a view i'd say,Steve. Superb shot,must remember to take the pillow along next birding session,not for support, but nice to have whilst waiting for a bird to show. ;);
