Bar-tailed Godwit (Limosa lapponica)

One of seven seen this morning. Thankfully the dog walkers were out in force causing the waders to fly by where I was stood further along the beach.
I'm back to using my old and trusty Canon 40D after the 7D developed a sensor/processor fault.
Location
Seaton Snook, Hartlepool. UK
Date taken
28th December 2014
Scientific name
Limosa lapponica
Equipment used
Canon 40D + Canon 400mm f5,6
A real cracking aerial capture Ian!!! I guessed this wasn't taken with your SX50. Dump that old Canon and get yourself a Nikon mate, LOL.
