Hi all, just had to share this one again, I used an image for my Xmas Card as didn't really know where to place it! I went to Eynesbury and went for a walk, (my respite) in the Greybox Forest, not too many birds as very dry, but when I got back to near the artificial lake the Cockatoos and Corellas were making quite a din and as I was watching the Long-bills play high in the trees I saw 'my' Hybrid, tried to get a few shots, but too high up...it then flew off.... but a short time later as I was standing near the Pergola that is out over the water so the kids can see the ducks etc close-up, in flew the Hybrid just above my head! The S/C Cockatoos were close by as well as the L/B Corellas, it stayed for 10 mins or so, got heaps of photos, before going off towards the forest to roost, I hurried back to Pete and told hime that I had seen it again. I sent a few images to the local shire and birding friends, they are still amazed that a Hybrid has actually survived in the wild.....do hope you all like it!
