It ends with 'ism' (Dendrocopos major)

I posted a pic 6 weeks ago of this Great Spotted Woodpecker with the unusual plumage - I got a slightly clearer pic yesterday so thought I'd post it with an update.

There's no change in the plumage, so it wasn't a juve male with a moult anomaly - so the consensus is it's an adult female. She is displaying signs of [b]Erythrism[/b] or possibly [b]Leucism[/b] - the majority opinion is [b]Erythrism[/b]. Anyway, I've never seen a GSW like it before... maybe it will interest some of you as well. Oh, that feeder is a bespoke mix of Lard, Bread, Nuts, and Seeds... most birds seem to like it, especially Woodpeckers and Starlings.
