Flight Simulation

Hi! I'm new here and have been cruising around the forum for a few days now and thought I'd finally jump in and post some pics. I have already learned so much in the short time I've been here and hope to learn much more from the wonderful photographers on here. I'd like to make improvements in the areas of composition and technique especially.

I live in Southern California, a wonderful place for birding. Lots of great coastal areas of course and I can be in the mountains in an hour or the desert w/in a couple hrs. Some of the birds I most often see are W. Scrub Jays, Oak Titmice, Acorn Woodpeckers, Red Tailed Hawks, CA Towhees, Snowy Egrets, Great Blue Herons,Red Tailed Hawks, etc.

At a local park, a Red Tailed Hawk couple fledged 4 offspring. Took some pics of them testing out their wings before they had left the Eucalyptus nest tree.
