Arrowhead (Sagittaria sagittifolia)

Another of the pretty flowers growing along the canal, this one actually in the water.

I check with the Flower ID forum, first for the identity and also to find out if it's a native plant, which it is. Pleased about that.

Hi Delia, I may have seen these flowers before but I don't remember noticing them. You've taken a great image of this plant. I like the arow-shaped leaf.
