Bridge 99, Llanwenarth

Bridge 99, Llanwenarth

This was the furthest I walked in the westward direction... the next bridge along from Govilon, called Llanwenarth.

My brother and his wife had walked to the next village at Gilwern and I arranged to meet them on their way back.

I find the bridges really quite attractive.

I'm a stone bridge lover myself and this is so very pretty D! Beautifully illustrated.

Very evocative Delia, with the dappled light and green and grey tones. Yes, there's something about stone bridges like this. You can feel the coolness under the bridge, and who knows what will appear on the other side when you've passed beneath it?
