Bonnet macaque (Macaca radiata)

Limited to peninsular India and very opportunistic, groups can be spotted roadside looking for handouts from travelers!!! Frequently groups of Bonnet macaques
travel in towns looting what they can.... they camp close to vegetable markets, fruit markets and places of worship. This one was amongst a group of about twenty macaques with several young ones....close to the tree in which I shot the Yellow throated bulbul.
