Andean Hillstar (male)
Andean Hillstar (Oreotrochilus estella subsp. stolzmanni) Species is sexually dimorphic. male. Cordillera Blancas, northeast of Yungas, Huascarn National Park, northeast of Yungay, Ancash, Per. Above the second Laguna Llanganuco at Yuraq Corral. At the edge of overgrazed puna grassland valley floor and the edge of the mountain slope at ca. 3,863 m (12,674 ft).

Cordillera Blancas, northeast of Yungas, Huascarn National Park, northeast of Yungay, Ancash, Per.

OMG it's an awful long time since we've seen one of these come in (7 whole years in fact!!!)
