See-see partridge could be seen in desert areas of Israel: Negev desert and Arava desert. Image of this one was made in Ein Gedi kibbutz near Dead Sea. They are very careful and better to watch them early morning or late evening. Not easy to recognize them as they merge with sand

What a lovely picture you've taken of this partridge Maist.... not a species we see coming in very often! In fact it's 6 years since the last one came in, so a great find for you too.
