That is quite a large insectivore mammal! It really is quite beautiful Peter. Do they bite or sting? You can answer here, I'll check back.
 
I haven't come across one of these before, Peter. He is a lovely little creature.

KC, they live mainly on worms, so they are safe to handle - no biting or stinging. They stamp their feet to bring the worms to the surface.
