I sat in my campervan watching this Wagtail attacking its reflection in a car windscreen at a campsite at Durness in northern Scotland. It was getting extremely agitated at this intruder in its territory. I went out and chased it off several times as I thought it would exhaust itself but a few moments later it was back again. Fortunately the car owners eventually came back and sat outside their tent keeping the bird away.

LOL What a great picture and record of this behaviour Andrea.

I remember staying at a B&B near Inverness some years ago now, where a Pied Wagtail was doing this to their wing mirror. He'd been at it for a few weeks.

Thanks for this lovely image lass.
