Christmas Moon (Lunae novae)

While I was taking the sunset to the south, I suddenly noticed the new moon appearing in the east!

Couldn't resist - I haven't got many moon pictures.

Very dramatic image, Delia! Btw, I changed the Square-tailed Kite photo, but struggled to work out how to format H&J's name. I got it to work but not sure why!!

This works very well Delia. I like how you've placed the moon at the top, and the last reddish hint of the sunset. A beautiful and subtle image.
