Clay-colored Thrush (leucistic & normal) (Turdus grayi)

Clay-colored Thrush (Turdus grayi subsp. casius) Sexes similar. The only redeeming quality of this picture is that it shows a comparison between a normal Clay-colored Thrush and this leucistic one under the same lighting condition, which was very poor. Canopy Lodge, El Valle de Antn, Cocl Province, Panam. Tropical rainforest/cloud forest becoming a more broadleaf evergreen forest with fewer deciduous trees at ca. 596 m (1,955 ft) elevation adjacent to Ro Guayabo.

They look quite different, don't they - a wonderful picture you've got there Stanley.

Very well done lad.

great closeup capture of this kind of Thrush, Stanley! Fabulous picture!

Excellent double Stanley, showing the differences that make me almost give up sometimes. Who gets to name these things??? Clay-coloured Thrush? And over here, a clay-coloured sparrow. And this is a clay-coloured female blackbird...!!! Anybody know any other colours? No?
