Common Gull (Larus canus)

1st Winter Common from the harbour at Kilmore , managed to see the Eastern Stonechat before it went to roost just after 6 yesterday evening , beautiful Female bird , no images i'm afraid , did'nt even take the gear out of the car as it was a sensitive site on private land and i was afraid of spooking her , nevertheless got great views through the bins and a first for me so still chuffed , reappeared this morning so might make another trip down yet. Tac.

A lovely shot of this superb Gull floating on beautiful blue water. It is good to hear that you are concerned more about the welfare of the Stonechat than trying to get some shots of it. Nice one Tac.
