Uploaded as bird of Central and South America & Mexico since it is not resident of Asia. However, image shot in Sanki Tank in Bangalore. Probably imported and kept there. A first for me.

I presume this bird is a free-flying escapee from somewhere? The category should reflect where the bird has been seen, so I'll change the Category back to Asia.... we've loads of them in Europe too LOL.... and don't they cause a lot of ID confusion!!!

I Googled that tank... it sounds to be an interesting place.
