Common Crane (Grus grus)

A newbie for me...We've seen these birds fly over on thir way to their evening roost. We moored up yesterday afternoon, and I see a pair land in a field behind a row of bushes/trees. I waited outside in the chilly breeze for an hour and a half...Result!!!

Excellent Mali, congratulations! A great flight shot. I've only seen them once, at least half a mile away through a shimmering heat haze, but this image is in a different class, very impressive.
