I always find it more satisfying somehow to get a picture of a bird away from the feeders, but generally take what I can get LOL, especially species I don't see at home.

We kept trying to spot a female, but never got a picture of one, so guess there weren't any around.

This male shot is lovely and I too prefer them off feeders. Great bird to get and really well taken Delia.
