My first picture of a robin (Erithacus rubecula)

since May 18th, which is a bit unfair to that bird as I often take photos of that species.Thank you for your nice comments on my image of a dunlin.I was sitting on a rock at the top of a beach, taking photos of waders and gulls in the water when this robin kept perching close to me, on my left, then on my right, then close to my feet. It seemed to want to attract my attention. So I ended up taking pictures of him.This may be my last post for some time as I take the night boat to England tomorrow.

Just once I saw a robin , when I was in Netherlands , and could take one or two shots , one shot is in my gallery . I really love robins.
This is a wonderful closeup of a very beautiful and lovely robin Joelle .Pose and eye contact are marvelous , many tfs MF ;)
