Sparrow playing at ....

I thought this sparrow was playing "blue tit" - hanging from branchlets foraging on seeds or buds. But when I took a closer look, I found it was playing at "flycatcher". Or maybe at pest control? Is that a greenfly it's got, and are they considered garden pests?
