Superb Lyrebird
Spent a few hours in the forest and managed to see 6 Lyrebirds. Recorded one showing of its mimicry. Spent a bit of time trying to improve my video technique. Establishing the audio settings on my 7D combined with 'pink noise' input on one channel to over come noise created by cameras lack of manual adjustment. Results are much better.

Superb! Oh dear sorry Stephen! You really have a great picture of this lyrebird.

Well done.

Hi Stephen, good to see another of your lovely lyrebird pixs. Wish I stayed close enough to them like you do. Been to the Dandenongs only once this year and managed thankfully to see one ... as in one bird only. Has been worse. There were times I saw nothing! hahaha!
Must have another go soon. Cheers, Richard
