New one for me if it is and a little beauty.
Difficult to catch because it was reluctant to settle anywhere and kept going high up into the trees.
Got there eventually!

Essex/Suffolk border
Date taken
7/8/2019

Your patience was rewarded, Keebs. A wonderful study of this delicate creature.

It really is very pretty, isn't it Keebs!

Congratulations on your new sighting too.... and getting a great picture was a real bonus, wasn't it.

Really good detail on this macro close-up. A pristine female Willow Emerald Lestes viridis. Pale stigmata, 'go-faster' striped bodywork and elongated abdomen. Eyes are tinged creamy brown and not blue. Congrats.
