I was practising with my new adapter this morning and have decided that it was not as easy to use as I first thought. I have therefore resorted to using a piece of plastic plumbing connector and sliding it over the eyepiece and holding the camera lens into it. The lens and the eyepiece just meet up inside the tube and vignetting is minimal. Obviously this will be better if I can find some way of fixing the piping to the lens filter thread adapter I have.
