    It is a female goldfinch. The shape of the bill gives it away. As for which it is either a Lesser or American. I know someone here can probably figure it out.

    It has streaking on the belly (like a belly band) and white feathers in the scapulars. The angle is a little hard to see the tail markings or the length compared with the wings. But I would make the same identification, Red-tailed Hawk.

    Greater Yellowlegs / Lesser Yellowlegs

    I would agree with your instinct that you have a greater and lesser. A field mark I use is the bill length and slight upcurve of the greater compared to the lesser. Of course you do have to get a good look at them. Nice photo though!
