    Target bird species for 2014

    Concentrating on my home town.Two rail species,Sora and Yellow Rail and Le Conte's Sparrow.not seen or heard last year.Should have got Orchard Oriole last year in a good spot try harder 2014.

    There was a robin reported here in Manitoba yesterday. Temperature-25'c.Actually went looking for it today.Quite a few robins are reported every winter here,hardy souls!Was feeding on Mountain Ash berries.Aa long is there is a good source of food,some stick around.

    What's with the weather? Walked 10kms. today looking for something new for the year list.Found it through my front window!:-O 11.Hairy Woodpecker Got close to a Coyote today in my patch.Snowed last night!Photo below of track plus must likely the suspect taken last summer in the same area.
