Is the leather covered Ultravid BL still available?

Yes my friend. Checked Company 7 Web site. No upgrade just standard BRs. I did own a Ultravid 10x42 HD apart the slight extra wide field found the view not that much better to my eyes. As you say A nice new 7x35 BA would be superb

Is the leather covered Ultravid BL still available?

Just purchased a 10x42 BL In mint condition with original leather case. Real old school looking binocular. I love them but then I am old school. Still use my 10x40 Dialyts. Far as i know they only do a 8x and a 10x

7x42 Ultravid advantages? Am over 60.

I do not find a lot of difference in a 7x to an 8x Binocular my self Only using a 10x for that extra reach for sea bird watching or distant waders

I can hold the HD steady with one hand. I 'm Lucky to also have a Zeiss 7x42 Dialyt Icon of a binocular...

Must have been a Friday built model :-O Sold my first pair to buy a 7x42 But missed them so got a another pair that look as new. No problems so far touch wood. 8x32 BNs still sell for between £400 & £600

Trinovid bn 8x32, are they still worthy?

The Trinovid 8x32 BN is an icon Binocular. Superb piece of Leica craftsman ship in my old school bird watcher humble opinion. With a cult following. Make sure if you buy its a BN model not a BA the BN has a closer focus.
