    Curlew or not? SW Turkey

Hi all, A friend sent me this photo and am unsure as to whether it is a curlew or not. It is a poor photo and it was taken in strong sunlight. So it may be the effect of this that it looks so light coloured. He seemed to think it was a white ibis but have never heard of one here, although I...

Hi, First apologies for quality of photo, it was take off of a moving boat as we travelled up a channel towards the beach. At first when I looked at the camera screen I thought this was a black headed bunting but looking at the beak I am not so sure as it looks too long and slender in the photo.

    Bird Id Southern England.

Hi all, your help required again. Asking for a friend not the best of images as the sun has washed out some of it. Thought this may be a pipit or maybe a dunnock with a lot of the colouring washed out, but am sure someone will be able to help.

https://youtu.be/SHZiGwXP1bY Here is a short video, is this normal behaviour of Spanish sparrows? This was just a small group out of several which came into roost.

Tonight's photo, I am sure I can make out some sparrows mixed in with them, one of my other shots shows a similar size bird with a reddish breast but am trying to track that down as I saw that on the camera viewer screen.

They were "chattering" all the time coming into roost and when going this morning, there were so many of them it was loud enough to wake my wife up lol. Have listened to the linnet calls and I don't think it was that.

Got up early but they were flying out whilst still very dark so unable to get a better photo. I ventured into the orange grove where they were roosting and I thought they looked a bit smaller than the rose coloured starling more finch size. I had a look through the photos I took last night and...

Thanks guys, had a look at collins and it shows us on the migration route so could well be. There are literally several hundred of them in the orange and lemon groves nearby, will try to get up early tomorrow to see if I can see them before they take off.
