    Los Angeles, CA - This Week

    All seen at Griffith Observatory on Wednesday. I believe the first is a Western Bluebird. The second, I was hoping might be an Allen's Hummingbird. It appears to have some reddish coloration, but I wasn't sure if it was just due to the awful lighting.

    I cropped the attached photo as requested. I also found an additional photo. Is the bird at the top right a cormorant or...? Also, any ideas on the sandpipers? I assumed at least a few were Westerns due to the reddish coloration.
