I see the Bean Goose is still on the Shotwick fields. Does anyone knows if it's a Tunda or Taiga race?

    Ptarmigan on Cairngorm

Glenshee is the easiest one to go for! I saw them there a few years back, was fairly easy to see. I think this thread is in the wrong forum though. :-)

    Raptor watchpoints - Swanton Novers

Thanks Tideliner. I'm heading back home to Cheshire tomorrow, so I might try the Notts site which is a little closer to home. Perhaps that is the most reliable site in the UK now? Hope you feel better soon and thanks for advice, Dave

    Nightingales - North Norfolk

Inner Marsh Farm - from the horse's mouth

So do you still use the Station Road point to get to the "old hide" as it's being named? I remember when that was built and used to be just a screen. In fact I spent many hours camped out on the railway embankment watching from the railway sleepers but enough of my reminiscing. Looking forward...

    Interesting Chiffchaff Song / Call

Thanks Phil - it did strike me as different and not something I've come across before. I wasn't that close to the Chiffchaff and it's not a phrase I've heard previously. At first I thought it was two different birds. It was the acro type call that attracted my attention in the first instance...
