    Alternative eyepiece for a Nikon Fieldscope ED III or just get something newer?

    I bought a scope from Japan for the purposes of obtaining the eyepiece it came with, the coating is visually slightly funky, but otherwise I’m glad I bought it as it completed the set of wide eyepieces for me - the wide fixed eyepieces are definitely worth the effort in sourcing.

    Anyone having any issues with the Android version now? The videos don’t seem to stick for me if I fully close the app, they restore fine, they just don’t seem to want to stick. I have left this with them and am hoping for a fix.

    All text is translated, English names seem to be used throughout however. I don’t think Dutch is an option though (here in the UK in any case), just English, German, French, Swedish and Norwegian.

    Third edition definitely more stable now, no issues so far with that for me since the latest update. I have reported an issue with the videos though, which will hopefully get sorted too.

    Have now done as it does seem to be an ongoing issue, now I have tested it a little more. I previously have emailed them re the non-restoring purchases, which they did fix, but similar to yourself I reckon my second Play account must be causing issues.

    Haven’t tested it much, but appears I have the exact same issue - seem to able to restore purchases (third version and videos), but they don’t seem persistent.

    The iOS version has been out since July, and still seems to be version 2 with an in-app purchase upgrade to edition 3, so I don’t expect the Android version to go to edition 3 straight from store any time soon, but I could be wrong.     I mostly use the app, or website on an iPad when at home. Other than being annoying having to log in after a week for the website on the iPad, no issues with having less than a week here.
