    RFI Central Florida - March 15th-29th 2008

    Got to see an otter on shore for a bit at a distance of around 20 feet. Cloudy rainy day while were there and still got 230 photos. Have fun out there!!

    She'll be so happy to hear that. This was my first real bird watching experience and now I'm hooked. She's been at it for awhile and its so much fun to see her get all giddy over spotting a new bird or a bird in breeding colors. Thanks for the help. Fred

    Yes monoculars are hand held and it doesn't matter for me if binos can be held easier because I can't use them. I'm just trying to figure out the difference between monoculars and spotting scopes and which one of the two would suite my needs better.

    Hello all, I just joined and am in need of some educating. My question is this. Scope or monocular and the reasons for it. My wife and I hike and kayak and we just got ourselves a Canon XT. Shes been into birds somewhat for a while and has a pair of binoc's ( don't know what brand ) I can't use...
