I appreciate the help! If you're interested, PM me; otherwise, I'll put it in the for sale column.

    Advice/value for 1924 6x24 Binospo

Thanks for the heads-up, Arthur! I didn't include pictures since this isn't the sales thread and I was only trying to determine relative value. Another question comes to mind though: It would be easy enough to apply some quality leather dressing to the scuffed portion of the leather, but due to...

    Advice/value for 1924 6x24 Binospo

Bedankt, Gijs! Leica says it's a Binospo that was delivered 1924. Other than a bit of black paint gone to brass, and surface scuffing on some leather, it's in great shape. Do you agree that one in good condition w/case (but no strap) would be roughly $80-$100?

    Advice/value for 1924 6x24 Binospo

Can anyone give a rough estimate of value for Leitz Wetzlar Binospo 6x24 binoculars? I think market value is in the $80-100 range, but can't find others to compare, other than military later models. Leica tells me they were delivered in 1924; they are not military; are in the original case...

Opinions on Sightron SII Blue Sky vs. Leupold Mojave BX3 vs ????

A gentle reminder that the world of today can be treacherous; you might remember the world photographic power that was Kodak, or Polaroid, or the ever present Sears that appears to be ebbing away. I too would like to think that these companies will be around for decades to come, but wouldn't bet...

DSLR or M43 - help me please!

My monitor is calibrated to my light, monitor and output so there will be a lot of room for others to see very different things. I wasn't trying to make a work of art -it isn't my work, it was a quick and dirty application without worrying about settings. I was just curious what definition was...

DSLR or M43 - help me please!

I think that you made a choice that will be a good fit for you. There's usually more to a picture than meets the eye with an image straight from the card, usually they need to be tweaked a bit, which is why I would encourage you to shoot in RAW format if you don't already. I was curious, so I...

    Pentax K-1

Pentax somehow flies under the wire despite making some very good products. I do not own the K-1 and cannot comment upon it, but can tell you that your file sizes are going to be large if you've never used full frame before, and this goes for any manufacturer. Here's a link that will give you...

    Photoshop CS3- eraser

If it's like CS2, when you choose the eraser icon in the tool box, there will be an eraser icon at the top of the screen with a tiny arrow next to it, indicating this is a drop down box. Click it, the box will open and give you choices for your eraser. Hope this helps.
